National Championship

The National Championships is the oldest basketball tournament in India, organized annually by the Basketball Federation of India. This prestigious competition features a league cum knock-out format and is divided into different categories based on age, including Junior Men and Women, Sub-Junior Men and Women, and Senior Men and Women. Every aspiring basketball player in India dreams of winning this coveted trophy, which represents the pinnacle of achievement in the sport.

Federation Cup

The Federation Cup stands out as one of the most prestigious tournaments in Indian basketball. This annual event also follows a league cum knock-out format and features the top eight teams from the senior Nationals alongside the host state. ISBL and ISCL

Each league runs for approximately 6-8 weeks, with teams playing one match per week. This format allows players ample time on the court to showcase their skills. Numerous Invitational Tournaments are hosted by various federations, governmental institutions, and educational bodies across India. Notable events include the All India Open Basketball Tournament, YMCA Knights National Invitational Tournament, Master Prithvinath Memorial, Mulki Sunder Ram Shetty All India Basketball Tournament, Don Bosco Invitational Tournament, Ramu Memorial, and JCI All India Basketball Tournament.
