Description
Our Himalayan pink rock salt is mined from mines that originate from the Do Gangeticum plain, it is mined from the Khewra salt mine. The chemical composition of Himalayan salt includes 95–96 percent sodium chloride, 2–3 percent polyhalite, and small amounts of ten other minerals. The pink color of rock salt is due to the presence of iron oxide in it. It is commonly used in cooking, in place of other table salts, in brine, and for bath products such as bath salts. Salt blocks are also used in serving dishes and preparing food.
